The game kicked off with Nathan Garnier striking first for Cornwall, answered swiftly by Lucas Culhane for Smiths Falls in the 1st period. Cornwall escalated their lead in the 2nd period with goals from Ethan Montroy and Bradley Fraser. Fraser continued his dominance in the 3rd period, securing another goal for Cornwall. The goaltenders showcased their skills with Cornwall’s Xander Miceli making an impressive 31 saves, while Smiths Falls’ Dawson Labre held his ground with 25 saves.
