CCHL Recap | Carleton Place, Navan and Smiths Falls win Sunday night hockey

Ottawa, ON – Sunday night hockey was in full swing tonight in the Central Canada Hockey League with Carleton Place vs Renfrew, Cornwall vs Navan and Smiths Falls vs Pembroke. 

F | Carleton Place 6 Renfrew 3

Carleton Place Canadians get two goals in the first period by Aidan Cooper and Tristan Boudreau. Theodoros Dimopoulos for Renfrew gets their team on the board with a power play goal. Caton Ryan responds with a Carleton Place goal. Theodoros Dimopoulos gets the second goal of the night for Renfrew, final goal of the second period goes to Dane Carter. Third period scoring all went to Carleton Place players; Caton Ryan, Thomas Enrietto and Mathieu Fehr. Viacheslav Gordeichuk started in net this afternoon making 26-saves, Ethan Dinsdale ends the game in net making 5-saves. Carleton Place goalie Jackson Pundyk makes 25-saves in net.

F | Cornwall 1 Navan 2 (SO)

No scoring first period. One goal for Navan by Cristobal Tola and Cornwall gets on the board with a goal from Brayden Bowen. No scoring in the third period or overtime making the teams go to the first shoot out of the season. Sebbie Johnson gets the winning shoot out goal for the Navan Grads. Jaeden Nelson ends the night with 29-saves. Xander Miceli saves 44 shots on net.

F | Smiths Falls 4 Pembroke 1

High scoring first period led by Smiths Falls getting two back to back goals by Matthew Dimaline and Jackson Heron. Pembroke Vital Dinis gets their team on the board in the first. Tyson Parker response with a goal for Smiths Falls. One goal in the second period by Smiths Falls player Hunter Brown. No goals in the third. Smiths Falls Dawson Labre makes 22-saves in net and Pembroke Aiden Pierce makes 31-saves tonight.
