CCHL Recap | Busy Friday with Five games

 

OTTAWA, ON – Five games across the CCHL region on Friday night saw victories from Renfrew, Navan, Smiths Falls, Kemptville, and Carleton Place.

 

F | RENFREW 3 BROCKVILLE 0

Aditya Mehta, Trent Scullion, and Tyson Tomasini found the net, while Sebastian Rear was perfect with a 30-save shutout as Renfrew improved to 9-6-1-1 on the year. Brockville, who fell to 8-8-0-0 had a 18-save performance from Sami Molu in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 5 HAWKESBURY 3

Owen Parsons, Tio D’Addario, Blake Hall, Blake Butler, and Nicholas Paone each tallied goals, while Braedyn McIntosh made 31-saves as Navan improved their season record to 11-5-2-0. Hawkesbury, who dropped to a record of 9-4-1-3, had two-goals from Landon Brownlee, a single from Jakson Kirk, while Dekon Randell-Snow made 42-saves in the loss.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 5 NEPEAN 4

Sean James scored the game-winner with less than a minute remaining, Matthew Dimaline, Garrett Joss, Riley Thompson, and Thomas Gangl added singles, while Will McEvoy made 28-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 13-4-0-1. Nepean, who fell to 3-10-0-2, had goals from Luca Ricciardi, Luke Posthumus, Tyler Melvin, and Joshua Reid, while Luca Sandu finished with 44-saves in the loss.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 4 PEMBROKE 3

Ty Whyte, Chase Lammi, Benjamin Campeau, and Hunter Brazier scored, while Conor Blackwood made 23-saves as Kemptville improved to 6-8-3-0 on the season. Pembroke, who dropped to a record of 4-11-0-1, had goals from Owen Rainey, Pratt Stetson, and Josh Brady, while Ben Forget made 28-saves in the loss.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 3 ROCKLAND 1

Evan Jamieson, Matteo Disipio, and Will Soloway scored goals, while Jackson Pundyk made 29-saves as Carleton Place improved to 9-5-0-1 on the season. Rockland, who fell to 8-6-1-2, had their lone goal from Patrick Lanthier, while Hadyn Gould made 24-saves in the loss.
