CCHL Recap | Bears Win Thursday Evening

Ottawa, ON – There was one game featured on Thursday night in the Central Canada Hockey League. The Smiths Falls Bears traveled to visit the Cornwall Colts, where after 60-minutes the Bears won 4-3.

The game kicked off with an early goal from Matthew Dimaline of Smiths Falls in the 1st period. Cornwall rallied back in the 2nd period with goals from Bradley Fraser and Nicolas Gingras, but Alec Hamady scored Smiths Falls. The 3rd period saw Travis Ouellette net two crucial goals for Smiths Falls. Adam Walker scored for Cornwall also in the third. Goaltenders Dawson Labre of Smiths Falls and Donald Hickey of Cornwall were in for 60-minutes, with Labre making 17 saves and Hickey stopping 28 shots.
