CCHL Recap | Kemptville and Navan win Wednesday Night

Ottawa, ON – Two games happening Wednesday evening in the Central Canada Hockey League; Hawkesbury Hawks vs Kemptville 73’s and the Navan Grads vs Nepean Raiders.

Matthew O’Doherty opens up the first period for Kemptville and Aidan Stubbings responds less than a minute later tying up the score. Matthew O’Doherty gets his second goal of the night in the first period again, ending 20-minutes with Kemptville up by one. Second period, Tyler Melvin gets Kemptville up by one with a power play goal 34-seconds into the second. Remi Gagne gets the puck in the back net for Hawkesbury. Kemptville 73’s took over the third period with three goals from Tyler Whyte with two empty netters. Kemptville goaltender Jacob Biron ended the night with 38-saves. Hawkesbury goaltender Dimitri Pelekos ended the night with 35-saves.

F | Navan 4 Nepean 2

No scoring in the first period. Navan Grads opened the second period with a goal from Kiki Brown and Matthew Roy. Third period scoring Navan Grads Devon Savignac gets another goal for Navan. Nicolas Papineau gets two goals for Nepean on the board. Devon Savignac gets an empty netter late in the third period for Navan. Navan Grads goalie Jaeden Nelson saves 29 shots. Nepean goaltender John Gedraitis saves 37-saves.
