CCHL Recap | 73’s, Canadians, Grads, and Braves Sunday winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were four games of action on Sunday which saw victories from the Kemptville 73’s, Carleton Place Canadians, Navan Grads, and Brockville Braves.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 6 HAWKESBURY 5 OT

Ty Whyte netted a hat-trick, including the overtime winner, Tyler Melvin scored twice, Coleman Bennett had a single, while Alex Musielak made 28-saves as Kemptville improved their season record to 16-18-4-1. Hawkesbury, who fell to 22-11-4-3, had two-goal efforts from Jakson Kirk and Nathan Gagne, and a single from Spencer Gallant in the loss.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 5 ROCKLAND 4 SO

Will Soloway, Matteo Disipio, Mathieu Fehr, and Cato Ryan scored in regulation, Ryan added the Shootout winner as well, while Jackson Pundyk made 29-saves as Carleton Place improved to 25-14-0-2 on the year. Rockland, who fell to 15-17-3-3, had goals from Jordan Prepszl, Yanic Crete, Jonathan Swyer, and Nicolas White, while Hadyn Gould made 26-saves in the losing effort.

F | NAVAN 4 NEPEAN 1

Noah Carpenter scored twice, Blake Butler and Michael Urgo also found the back of the net, while Braedyn McIntosh made 17-saves as Navan improved to 27-11-3-0. Nepean, who dropped to a record of 10-27-1-3, had their lone goal from Nicholas Larkin, while Luca Sandu made 48-saves on the losing end of things.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 6 PEMBROKE 3

Matt Yeager scored twice, Aiden Carolan, Trent Ledrew, Zach Biniaris, and Lucas Culhane also scored as Brockville improved to 21-15-4-1. Pembroke, who fell to 8-27-2-2, had goals from Colin Vassallo, Pratt Stetson, and Vital Dinis in the loss.
