CCHL COMPLETES 2017 BANTAM PROTECT DRAFT

 

 

 

A total of 127 players were selected in the CCHL Bantam Protect draft Monday night from 15 teams in the Hockey Eastern Ontario Branch.  74 forwards, 43 defensemen, and 10 goalies would hear their names called by one of the twelve Central Canada Hockey League member teams.

 

The Eastern Ontario Wild led the pack with 18 selections, while the Ottawa Jr 67’s was right behind with 17.  The Ottawa Valley Titans and Upper Canada Cyclones each had 15 players selected, while the next AAA program with high numbers was the Ottawa Senators with 14.  The only other team to hit double digit selections, as well as only AA team to do so was the Rideau St. Lawrence Kings who had 10.
