Brockville's Chaddock deadly on offense in 4-1 win against Hawkesbury

 

Chris Chaddock had two goals to lead the Brockville Braves to a 4-1 victory over the Hawkesbury Hawks.

Chaddock scored at 1:30 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Brockville and again while on the power play 1:19 into the third to make the score 3-1 Brockville.

 

Brockville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Hawkesbury power plays.

Brockville also got points from Eric Faith, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Ian Johnston also scored for Brockville. In addition, Brockville received assists from Tre Folkes, who had two and Jack Billings, Vincenzo Renda, Jack Gill, Andrew Jarvis, and Cameron Crotty, who each chipped in one.

Hawkesbury could not produce up to its normal offensive output. The Hawks average 3.6 goals per game.

Hawkesbury was led by Chris Smith, who scored the team's only goal. Smith scored 16:06 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Brockville. Ryan Bunka assisted on the tally.

Henry Johnson recorded 24 saves for the Braves. Brockville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Cole Skinner made 21 saves for the Hawks on 24 shots. Hawkesbury incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
