Bogart Cup Recap | Grads, Wolves, and Bears Tuesday winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – Three games of action on Tuesday night saw the Navan Grads, Renfrew Wolves, and Smiths Falls bears claiming victories.

 

F | NAVAN 2 BROCKVILLE 1

Nico Paone and Blake Butler scored, while Braedyn McIntosh made 32-saves as Navan was able to stave off elimination. Brockville got their lone goal from Markus Grajnar-Ptok, while Sami Molu made 38-saves in the loss. With the Braves leading 3-1 in the series, Game 4 goes Friday night in Navan at 7:30PM.

 

F | RENFREW 4 HAWKESBURY 2

Elvis Slack scored twice, Tyson Phare scored the game-winner late in the third period, Brendan Waivada scored into the empty net, while Sebastian Resar made 33-saves as Renfrew took a 2-1 series lead. Hawkesbury received their goals from Landon Brownlee and Remi Gelinas, while Dimitri Pelekos made 33-saves in the loss. Game 4 is scheduled for Thursday night in Hawkesbury at 7:30PM.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 3 CARLETON PLACE 0

Owen Watson, Finnegan Kilmurray, and Kyle Dagg scored goals, while Will McEvoy had a 38-save shutout as Smiths Falls took a 2-1 series lead. Carleton Place had a 27-save effort from Joe Chambers in the loss. Game 4 goes Wednesday night in Carleton Place at 7:00PM.
