OTTAWA, ON – Two games across the region Wednesday saw the Smiths Falls Bears and Cornwall Colts picking up victories.

Sean James, Riley Thompson, and Owen Watson found the back of the net, while Will McEvoy had a 20-save shutout as Smiths Falls took a 3-1 series lead. Carleton Place had a 27-save effort from Joe Chambers in the loss.
F | CORNWALL 4 OTTAWA 3 OT
Nathan Garnier scored twice, including the overtime winner, John Richer and Brayden Bowen also had markers, while Cameron Hollands made 31-saves as Cornwall got their first win of the series. Ottawa had two goals from Massimo Gentile, a single from Michael Hebert, while Rorke Applebee made 28-saves in the loss.
