CCHL Recap | Four Games Across CCHL circuit Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were four games of CCHL action on Sunday which saw victories from Hawkesbury, Carleton Place, Ottawa, and Pembroke.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 3 NEPEAN 2

Nathan Gagne scored twice, Antoine Dorion added a single, while Devon Randell-Snow made 36-saves as Hawkesbury improved to a record of 14-9-2-3 on the season. Nepean, who fell to 5-18-0-3, had goals from Curtiss Sturgeon and Jacob Dupont, while Gage Stewart made 25-saves in the loss.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 8 BROCKVILLE 0

Derek Hamilton paced everyone with 5 points (2G, 3A) to extend his point-streak to 19-games, Cato Ryan scored twice, Matteo Disipio, Brandon Walker, Loic Prudhomme, and Dylan Pollock added singles, while Joe Chambers had a 30-save shutout as Carleton Place improved their season record to 15-8-0-2. Brockville fell to 13-13-0-0 with the loss.

Vincent Velocci and Braxton Ross tallied goals, while Rorke Applebee had a 43-save shutout as Ottawa won their 11th straight to improved their CCHL-best record to 22-4-2-0. Navan, who fell to 18-8-2-0, had 21-saves from Braedyn McIntosh in the loss.

 

F | PEMBROKE 4 SMITHS FALLS 3 SO

Ryan McNally, Connor Peet, and Colin Vassallo scored in regulation, Alex Urbisci scored the Shootout winner, while Ben Forget made 34-saves as Pembroke ended their winless streak to improve to 6-16-1-1. Smiths Falls, who dropped to 17-8-0-2, had goals from Sean James, Riley Thompson, and Garrett Joss, while Will McEvoy made 32-saves in the loss.
