Release | CCM Hockey Performers of the Month Announced for November

 

OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for November.

Sean James from the Smiths Falls Bears is the Player of the Month, Reece Proulx of the Pembroke Lumber Kings is Goaltender of the Month, while Jack Hillier from the Nepean Raiders is Rookie of the Month.

 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH | SEAN JAMES

The 2002 born Almonte, ON native totaled 14 points (5G, 9A) in a month that saw the Bears play a league low 7 games. James had six multi-point games and was held off the scoresheet just once. His 2-point/game average was tops among all CCHL players while he also sported an impressive +5 rating, 33 shots on goal, and 17 blocked shots. On the year, James sits in a tie for first in the CCHL scoring race with 32 points (12G, 20A) in 21 games of action. 

 

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | REECE PROULX

The 2002 born North Bay, ON native totaled a record of 5-0-0-1, making 189 Saves, while sporting a 2.13 GAA and a CCHL-best .936 SV%. He faced 30+ shots on 5 occasions and his SV% never dipped below .900 in a single game. On the season, Proulx has a record of 8-1-2-1, with a 2.20 GAA and .931 SV%.

 

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | JACK HILLIER

The 2004 born Petawawa, ON native totaled 6 points (3G, 3A) in 8 games of action. He finished the month with back-to-back multi-point efforts, including a 2-goal performance Vs Carleton Place. On the year, Hillier is third among CCHL rookie skaters with 9 points (4G, 5A) in 17 games.
