Morning Recap | Canadians, Braves, Nationals, and Bears Sunday winners

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games of CCHL action on Sunday saw the Carleton Place Canadians, Brockville Braves, Rockland Nationals, and Smiths Falls Bears grabbing victories.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 6 CORNWALL 4

Ryland Mosley (1G, 3A) and Cameron Patton (2G) led the offensive surge, Xavier Jean-Louis, James Lister, and Caleb Kean also found the net, while Addison Lawrence made 18-saves as Carleton Place improved to 36-5-3-2 on the season. Cornwall, who fell to 15-27-1-1, had goals from Charlie Campbell (2), Emerick Nadeau, and Matthew Varnovitski, while Rico DiMatteo made 35-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 3 KANATA 1

Benjamin Dirven, Mathieu Wuth, and Will Torriani tallied goals, while Simon Harkness made 41-saves as Brockville improved their record on the year to 28-8-3-2. Kanata saw their record fall to 19-18-1-4.

 

F | ROCKLAND 4 HAWKESBURY 3

Aidan Hilton, Joe Jordan, Daniel Menges, and Simon Labelle scored goals, while Cole Hudson made 22-saves as Rockland improved to 28-13-0-2 on the year. Hawkesbury, who fell to 24-16-2-0, had goals from Mark Cooper, Felix Sauve, and Brendan McCarthy, while Mathieu Chenier made 23-saves in the loss.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 6 PEMBROKE 2

Tate Leeson had a hat-trick, Theo Todd, Brendan Dempsey, and Ryan Richardson also tallied goals, while Jake Smith made 19-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 19-17-2-1 on the season. Pembroke saw their record fall to 21-18-2-1.
