Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Hawkesbury Hawks are pleased to announce that ’97 born F Kari Belec has committed to play hockey at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) for the 2018-19 season.
The Sudbury, ON native spent three seasons in the CCHL, suiting up for both the Nepean Raiders, where he played over 150 games, as well as with the Hawks where he spent the second half of last season, including playoffs.
In 200 career regular season and playoff games, Belec posted 47 goals and totaled 103 points.
