First off, Happy Family Day from the CCHL

F | Carleton Place 7, Smiths Falls 2

The Canadians extended their winning streak to 12 games with a win over Smiths Falls today.

CP received great performances by Peyton Francis (2G) Nick Pryce (2G/1A), Broughman (2A) and Thorne (3A) who all contributed with multi-point games. Francis scored his first goal in six games and his fifth two goal game of the season. Pryce had his first three point game of the season while Thorne had a season tying three apples.

Bears are now 2-3 over their last five games. Humberstone had two assists while Larabie and Franche has their goals.

F | Cornwall 6, Hawkesbury 3

The Colts extended their winning streak to two games after previously snapping their five game losing streak. Hawks have lost two straight contests and five of their last six games.

Hebert (2G/3A) and Pogue (2G/2A) had a giant night in the Colts win. Hebert had his first five point game of the season and scored two goals in a contest for the first time since October 1st 2017. Pogue also scored his 20th goal of the year and his first goal over his last five games. Lascelle also made 37 saves.

Oddly enough, Hawkesbury went 3-9 on the power-play and out-shot Cornwall 30-27 in the loss. Jankowski had 1G/2A and Tougas scored two goals. Jankowski now has 38 goals (which leads the league) and 85 points.
