Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the Source for Sports Performers of the month for March.
Lucas Achim from the Kemptville 73’s is Skater of the Month, while Rylan Donovan from the Kemptville 73’s earned Goaltender of the Month, and Braydon Lindsay from the Navan Grads received Rookie of the Month.
Skater of the Month | Lucas Achim
The 2007 born Lorraine, QC, CAN native in his first season with the Kemptville 73’s and has had a strong first season and month of March. Achim registered 14 goals and 50 points in 47 games played. In March, Achim had 11 points in 6 games played (2G, 9A) to earn skater of the month.
Goaltender of the Month | Rylan Donovan
The 2005 born Richmond, ON, CAN native is in his second full season with the Kemptville 73’s and has emerged as one of the league’s top goaltenders, leading the CCHL with 25 victories and 7 shutouts. In the month of March, Donovan earned 3 victories while sporting a 1.01 goals against average and a 0.954 save percentage.
Rookie of the Month | Braydon Lindsay
The 2008 born Stittsville, ON, CAN native is in his first season with the Navan Grads and has recently been climbing the rookie scoring leaders. Lindsay is now within the top five in scoring amongst rookie skaters across the CCHL with 38 points in 54 games played. In March, Lindsay tallied 10 points in 7 games for the Grads (1G, 9A).
