OTTAWA, ON – Four games of CCHL action Friday night saw victories from the Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, Renfrew Wolves, and Rockland Nationals.
BROCKVILLE 3 CARLETON PLACE 0
Lucas Culhane, Luke Tchor, and Jack McDonald registered goals, while Sami Molu pitched a 29-save shutout as Brockville improved to 29-13-0-2 on the season. Carleton Place, who fell to 15-25-1-3, had a 38-save effort from Brady McEwan in the loss.
HAWKESBURY 6 PEMBROKE 2
Rylee Hlusiak scored twice, Jakson Kirk, Bradley Horner, Ryan Murphy, and Thomas Cusson added singles, while Dimitri Pelekos made 18-saves as Hawkesbury improved their record on the year to 29-10-2-2. Pembroke, who fell to 26-14-2-2, had goals from Joe Jordan and Jesse Kirkby.
RENFREW 4 NAVAN 1
Jakob Kalin, Trent Scullion, Brendan Hill, and Tyson Tomasini scored goals, while Will Craig made 36-saves as Renfrew improved their record to 25-16-1-1. Navan, who fell to 21-18-1-1, had their lone goal from Devyn Orpana, while Carter Garvie made 37-saves in the loss.
ROCKLAND 6 NEPEAN 3
Yanic Crete tallied two goals, William Collins, John Mulvihill, Dean Taylor, and Gabriel Fillion also found the back of the net, while Charles Schenkel made 24-saves as Rockland improved to 19-19-3-1. Nepean, who dropped to 11-31-1-0, had goals from Owen Hollingsworth, Ryan Liverman, and Todd Northgrave, while Nathan Loisel made 38-saves on the losing end of things.
