Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Rockland Nationals are pleased to announce that Drew Shields has committed to NCAA Division 3 Lake Forest College for the 2019-20 season.
The 1998 born Leitrim, ON native tallied 19 points (7G, 12A) in 58 games of action this season. In 225 career CCHL regular season and playoff games, the two-way forward tallied 42 goals and totaled 85 points.
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Shields grew up playing in the Gloucester Rangers AA program.
Shields and the Nationals are set to begin their playoff run Sunday afternoon when they host the Hawkesbury Hawks at 2:30PM.
