Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Smiths Falls Bears are pleased to announce that forward Alex Way has committed to NCAA Concordia University Wisconsin for the 2019-20 season.
The 1998 born Ottawa, ON native recently finished his final season of junior hockey with the Bears where he totaled 43 points (15G, 28A) in 62 combined regular season and playoff games. During his 5-year CCHL career, Way totaled 161 points (65G, 96A) in 299 career games between the Bears, Navan Grads, and Ottawa Jr Senators.
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Way played his Minor Hockey for the Ottawa Jr 67’s AAA program.
