CCHL Recap | Four Games Sunday see wins from Rockland, Hawkesbury, Navan, and Smiths Falls

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games in the CCHL circuit on Sunday saw victories from Rockland, Hawkesbury, Navan, and Smiths Falls.

 

F | ROCKLAND 4 NEPEAN 1

Kyle Leonard, Guillaume Labre, Charles Locas, and Adriano Lombardo-Tullo scored goals, while Ben Grahame made 23-saves as Rockland improved to 6-1-1-1 on the year. Nepean, who fell to 2-6-0-2, had their lone goal from Luke Posthumus, while Gage Stewart made 31-saves in the loss.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 4 CARLETON PLACE 1

Landon Brownlee scored twice, Remi Gagne and Antoine Dorion also scored, while Dimitri Pelekos made 22-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 5-3-1-1 on the year. Carleton Place who fell to a record of 6-3-0-0, had their lone goal from Derek Hamilton.

 

F | NAVAN 5 CORNWALL 2

Nicholas Bennett and Owen Parsons scored two goals apiece, Cameron Vassos also scored, while Braedyn McIntosh made 25-saves as Navan improved on the season to 6-2-2-0. Cornwall, who fell to 5-3-1-0 had goals from Liam Verdoni and Chaka-Benjamin Ntumba-Muntu, while Dax Easter made 35-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 4 PEMBROKE 3

Matthew Dimaline, Ty Campbell, Sean James, and Conor Ronayne all found the back of the net, while Dawson Labre made 34-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 6-3-0-1. Pembroke, who dropped to a record of 2-7-0-0, had goals from Colin Vassallo, Matt Yeager, and Sacha Trudel, while Ben Forget made 20-saves in the loss.
