3 STARS OF THE WEEK – WEEK 23

Ottawa, ON — The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the 3 Stars from week 23 of the 2025-26 season. Brett Ruddy from the Smiths Falls Bears is named first star, while Gabriel Le Houillier from the Rockland Nationals earns second star, and Case Hennessy from the Kemptville 73’s has been named third star.

First Star | Brett Ruddy
Brett Ruddy from the Smiths Falls Bears has earned the first star of the week after picking up two victories for the Bears while sporting 0.98 goals against average and a 0.962 save percentage. Ruddy continues to shine in the Bears crease as he and the Smiths Falls Bears are trending in the right direction down the stretch.

Second Star | Gabriel Le Houillier
Gabriel Le Houillier from the Rockland Nationals has earned second star of the week, scoring three goals and seven points in the Nationals three games last week (3G, 4A). Le Houillier continues his scoring dominance across the CCHL as he now has 107 points in just 47 games played (53G, 54A). Le Houillier leads all goal scorers across the league and sits second to his teammate Mavrick Brunet in assists.

Third Star | Case Hennessy
Case Hennessy from the Kemptville 73’s has earned the third star of the week, scoring two goals and five points in the 73’s two games last week (2G, 3A). With a strong week, Hennessy now sits at 32 points in 48 games played (12G, 20A), good enough for a tie of fourth amongst all rookie scoring and the most of all eligible rookie defenceman.
