The list of CCHL alumni attending NHL Development Camps continues to grow as it reaches eighteen with Smiths Falls Bears alumni Zachary Senyshyn heading to camp with the Boston Bruins.
The Ottawa, ON native played for the Bears during the 2013-14 season as a 16-year old where he posted 26 goals and totaled 42 points in 73 combined regular season and playoff games. He would make the jump to the Ontario Hockey League the following season as a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and be drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 1st round at the conclusion of his rookie season. In 227 games of OHL action, Senyshyn has tallied 124 goals and totaled 198 points.
He is projected to begin the upcoming season in the American Hockey League with Boston’s affiliate in Providence, RI.
