Wednesday, January 10th Recap – Three Games

F/OT | Ottawa 2, Kanata 1

The Jr. Senators outshot Kanata 38-21 in their second overtime win of the season. Owen Guy scored twice, including the overtime winner for his 5th GWG of the year, which is 2nd in the CCHL behind Blacksmith who has six GWG.

Ulanov scores his first career CCHL goal in just his third game as a Laser. Carriere makes 36 saves in the loss.

F\OT | Nepean 7, Brockville 6

After leading 3-0 after one, 5-4 after two and 6-5 with under three minutes to go, Nepean was able to take this game in overtime. Horvath netted two goals while Browning (1G/2A) had three points. Graham Denomme scores the overtime winner for his 5th goal of the year. Browning gets his second three point game of the year while Horvath gets his first multi-goal effort since September 7th.

Despite the score, Brockville outshot Nepean 51-34 in the loss. Simon Mack scored his first career CCHL Tier 1 goal while Spratt had his first multi-point game of the season.

F/OT | Kemptville 5, Pembroke 4

The Lumber Kings comeback falls short after they scored two unanswered goals in the final frame to tie the game but ultimately lost in overtime.

In the 73’s win, Titus, Holtrop, Williams each had a goal and an assist while Patterson had two helpers. Titus has three points in two games since the break while Frazee’s OT winner gives him his 15th of the season for now 18 points, 12 goals with the 73’s.

Barnaby scores two goals and total of three points in the Pembroke loss. That extends his point streak to three games and gives him 23 goals on the year.
