Thursday Recap | Kanata gets the W and Rockland wins in OT

Rockland’s Simon Labelle  forced OT, scoring his second of the game at the 11:20 of mark of the third. Josh Norman netted the overtime winner for the Nats’ second consecutive win. They are now 1-1 in overtime this year.

Cornwall’s Dylan Massie and Josh Barnes each had 1 G  / 1 A in the loss. They have lost two straight games. Colts were outshot 40-25.

F | Kanata 3, Pembroke 1

Kanata scored two unanswered goals in the first period and after Pembroke made it 2-1 in the third, Spencer Van Tiem put the game away with his fifth of the year.

Gabriel Carriere made 42 saves while Connor Sleeth netted his seventh of the year in the win. Kanata takes the home-and-road series with Pembroke.

In the loss, Malcolm Arseneau scored his seventh of the year and his league leading 16th point. The Lumber Kings are now on a three-game losing streak.
