Thursday Recap | Canadians and Bears win high scoring affairs

Ottawa, Ontario – The Carleton Place Canadians traveled to Cornwall and played the Colts while the Kanata Lasers hosted the Smiths Falls Bears.

The Canadians out-shot the Colts 45-17 for their 12th win of the season and the teams second straight win.

Peyton Francis and Ben Tupker scored while andrej Hromic had 1G/2A for a three-point game.

Cornwall went 2-6 on the power-play with Justin McRae and Ethan Mulhearn scoring their only goals in the loss.

The Bears are now 2-0-1 over their last three games. Tate Leeson and Mitchell Larabie each scored twice. Burce Coltart had four apples.

Shots were 36-31 in favor of Smiths Falls.
