The Gongshow Academic Player of the Month

The Gongshow Academic Player of the Month is defenseman A.J. Klein from the
Carleton Place Canadians. From an academic standpoint and in the classroom
A.J.`s accomplishments are nothing short of incredible.  He scored a 35
(Composite) on his ACT, had a weighted 4.5 GPA in High School, and a SAT
mark of 2240.  He is currently taking Linear Algebra at Carleton and is
holding a 100% average.  On the ice Klein is a big contributor to the team
with the lowest goals against average in the league.  A.J. as a first year
defenceman has shown the CP coaching staff and his teammates that he is
willing to play an aggressive style of play and make the opposition compete
for open space on the ice.  In return A.J. has been rewarded with
significant playing time including the responsibility for penalty killing.
Given A.J.`s remarkable academic record and his contribution on the ice, he
is a very worthy Academic Player of the Month for November.
