Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the Source for Sports Performers of the month for October.
Mavrick Brunet from the Rockland Nationals is Skater of the Month, while Josh Scully from the Ottawa Jr. Senators earned Goaltender of the Month, and Will Mullins from the Kemptville 73’s received Rookie of the Month.
Skater of the Month | Mavrick Brunet
The 2006 born Laval, QC, CAN native in his first season with the Rockland Nationals has emerged as one of the top players in the CCHL this season. Brunet ranks first overall in points and assists. In October, Brunet had 26 points in 11 games (8G, 18A) to earn skater of the month.
Goaltender of the Month | Josh Scully
The 2005 born Boisbriand, QC, CAN native is in his second season with the Ottawa Jr. Senators and has been one of the top goaltenders across the league. In October, Scully earned 7 victories in 9 starts, a 0.929 save percentage and 1.93 goals against average. He currently sits second in the league for wins and first in goals against average for all qualified goalies in the league.
Rookie of the Month | Will Mullins
The 2009 born Ottawa, ON native currently sits second in the league in rookie scoring and finds himself within the top 20 in overall league scoring. In October, Mullins put up 4 goals and 8 assists for 12 points in 11 games. Mullins has quickly become one of the top rookies to watch in 2025-26.
