Release | Simon Mack named 2018-19 High School Academic Player of the Year

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Brockville Braves defenseman Simon Mack is the 2018-19 High School Academic Player of the Year.

The 2001 born Brockville, ON native had marks of 93, 84, and 96 in Kinesiology Advanced Functions at St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Brockville. 

The Penn State University commit was also a star on the ice for the Braves, leading all team defensemen in scoring with 40 points (3G, 37A) in 51 games of action. He was named CCHL Top Prospect of the Year and earned a CCHL 2nd All-Star Team nod. A great year in all for the young star.
