Release | Sherry Malloy welcomed as Director of Programs, Events and Properties

 

The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to welcome Sherry Malloy as its Director of Programs, Events and Properties.

Sherry has served as a volunteer with hockey for over 20 years from grassroots in minor hockey through to junior hockey. She has also served as a board member with various leagues from recreational to AAA. Notably, Sherry was President for the HEO U18 AAA League from its inception to its fifth year.

Sherry will be the point person for Canadian Junior Hockey League national programs, (Canadian Mental Health Association, Head Check Health, as well as other committees), She will also take lead in league events (Bantam Protected Draft, Camps, Showcases, All-Star Game and Prospect games).

“Sherry’s outstanding background as a minor hockey volunteer and executive make her a terrific asset for the CCHL. As we prepare for our Fall Showcase this weekend at Bell Sensplex, our CCHL selects game versus Ottawa University on October 23rd at the Jim Durrell Complex, as well as our league partnerships like the Canadian Mental Health Association through the CJHL-NHL agreement, Sherry’s expertise, experience and passion will prove invaluable”
