Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that league Executive member Peter Peckett has been named the 2019-20 Sam Pollock Award recipient for his dedication and outstanding contributions to the league.
Peter serves as the CCHL’s statistician and updates all league records. A former President, Peter brings his experience in that area as well as monitoring all electronic scoring and data input to ensure accuracy and compliance with league policies.
“Peter has been an integral part of our league staff for many years, said Director of Operations Sean Marcellus. “He is our stats guru, our historian, and someone who can provide us with knowledgeable input anytime we ask. We are incredibly lucky to have someone like Peter involved in the Central Canada Hockey League and we couldn’t imagine doing things without him. Congratulations to Peter, no one deserves this award more than him.”
