Release | Lumber Kings Reece Proulx named 2021-22 CCHL Goaltender of the Year

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Pembroke Lumber Kings goaltender Reece Proulx has been voted the 2021-22 CCHL Goaltender of the Year.

The 2002 born North Bay, ON native has an 18-11-2-2 record with a CCHL-leading SV% at .930, while also sitting tied for first in Shutouts (3), sitting third overall in GAA (2.26) and fifth in Saves (1,104).

Game in and game out, Proulx has been the best player on the Lumber Kings, giving them a chance to pick up victories every time he is between the posts. This has been evident since he first put on the red and white back in 2019-20 as in that time he has won numerous weekly and monthly league accolades for his dominance in nets. Hockey is a team game, but Reece Proulx is a very big part of the Lumber Kings success since he came in.

Prior to his time in the CCHL, Proulx came up through the North Bay Trappers AAA Minor Hockey program.
