Release | Kanata Lasers alumni Jack Quinn named to Team Canada for World Junior Championships

 

OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and is pleased to announce that Kanata Lasers alumni Jack Quinn has officially been named to the Team Canada roster for the upcoming World Junior Championships which runs from Dec 25 – Jan 5 in Edmonton, AB.

The 2001 born Cobden, ON native spent his 16-year old season playing for the Lasers back in 2017-18, where he was named CCHL Top Rookie and Top Prospect after totaling 46 points (21G, 25A) in 49 games of action.

Quinn was a member of the Ontario Hockey League’s Ottawa 67’s for the past two seasons where he totaled 128 points (67G, 61A), in 141 combined regular season and playoff games. 

He was selected in the 1st round, 8th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2020 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
