Release | Jr Senators Kyle Jackson named 2018-19 CCHL Rookie of the Year

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Ottawa Jr Senators forward Kyle Jackson is the 2018-19 CCHL Rookie of the Year.

In 50 games of action, the 2002 born Ottawa, ON native leads all CCHL rookies in Points (50), and Goals (21). He has also dressed in 12 games with the OHL’s North Bay Battalion, registering 3 points (2G, 1A).

“Through hard work, Kyle has surpassed our expectations this season,” said Jr Senators Assistant Coach/GM Jamie Mayo. “His skill set has helped him make significant contributions offensively and he has been an integral part of our power play success. To come in as a sixteen year old and have this kind of impact has been very impressive. He certainly has a bright future ahead of himself beginning next season with the North Bay Battalion in the OHL.”
