Release | CCM Hockey Performers of the Month Announced for October

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the CCM Hockey Performers of the Month for October.

Simon Isabelle from the Ottawa Junior Senators is the Player of the Month, Will Craig of the Renfrew Wolves brings home Goaltender of the Month honours, while Ty Campbell from the Smiths Falls Bears claims Rookie of the Month.

 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH | SIMON ISABELLE

The 2001 born Whitehorse, YT native and RIT commit led all skaters this past month with 23 points (9G, 14A) in 13 games of action, helping the Junior Senators to a CCHL best 11-2-0-0 record in that span. He had 8 multiple point performances with two game-winning goals while also suiting up for the CCHL All-Stars in their Exhibition game Vs the University of Ottawa.

 

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH | WILL CRAIG

The 2002 born Ennismore, ON native posted a 5-3-0 record with a 1.76 GAA, 1 shutout, and a CCHL best .947 SV%, as he stopped 248 of the 262 shots he faced. His shutout was a 39-save victory over Kemptville, which was one of his six 30+ save performances for the Wolves.

 

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | TY CAMPBELL

The 2005 born Nepean, ON native led all rookie defensemen in scoring with 6 points (2G, 4A) in 14 games of action this past month with both his goals being powerplay markers.
