Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Brockville Braves back-stopper Liam Souliere has been named the 2018-19 CCHL Goaltender of the Year.

The 1999 born Blainville, QC native has a 25-8-1 record, while sporting a 2.16 GAA, .930 SV%, and 2 Shutouts. In 76 career games between the Braves and Nepean Raiders, Souliere is 41-26-2 with a 2.45 GAA, .927 SV%, and 3 Shutouts.

On top of putting together a fine season with the Braves, the NCAA Division 1 Penn State commit also suited up for Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge in Alberta. He was also a big part of the Ottawa Capitals Bronze Medal performance at the Junior Club World Cup in Sochi, Russia this past Summer.

“Liam is well deserving of this honour and recognition,” said Braves Head Coach Jesse Winchester. “He epitomizes our vision of what it means to be a Brave. He competes fearlessly day in, day out, both in practice and game, he rises up in big moments to be a positive difference maker for our club, and he has earned the respect and admiration of his teammates because of his focus and dedication to doing things properly. It has been a true privilege to work along side him.”
