Release | 73’s Sarah Nichols named 2019-20 Trainer of the Year

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Kemptville 73’s Sarah Nichols has been named the 2019-20 CCHL Trainer of the Year.

“We are very happy and proud of Sarah to receive this deserving honour,” said 73’s Head Coach Jason York. “Sarah has been a tremendous asset for the entire Kemptville 73’s organization and she has been vital to our entire organization as not only a trainer, but in so many other important roles that help us operate a successful program. Congratulations Sarah!”

Nichols, who has her Honours Bachelor of Science specializing in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, and who is now in her third year of the Osteopathic Manual Practitioner Program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, has been a member of the 73’s CCHL training staff for the past 4 years (3 years full-time). She has also been the full-time Athletic Trainer of the 73’s U18 program since the 2015-16 season.
