Release | 73’s Chase Lammi named 2019-20 High School Academic Player of the Year

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Kemptville 73’s forward Chase Lammi has been named 2019-20 High School Academic Player of the Year.

The 2002 born Sudbury, ON native attends St. Michael Catholic High School in Kemptville where he had final marks of 87% in IDC4U, 100% in PAF40, and 92% in SPH4U. He also earned a 1160 on his first SAT attempt. He has earned a partial academic scholarship to St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.

Despite ending his season early due to a collarbone fracture, Lammi managed to earn 25 points on 10 goals and 15 assists in 38 games. He was also a member of Team East at the 2019 CJHL Prospects Game, in which he scored a goal.

In addition to his hard work in the classroom and on the ice, Lammi has been busy in the Kemptville community as well. He has participated in numerous volunteering events, including raising money for and participating in the Neon Night Run for Childhood Cancer, and assisting at several Kemptville Royals Youth Hockey Days.
