Hawkesbury 4, Nepean 1
Hawkesbury secured a 4-1 victory over Nepean with a dominant performance, starting with two late first-period goals from Jacob Jette on the power play at 19:08 and Charbonneau just 39 seconds later. They extended their lead in the second period when Lauzon capitalized on another power play at 18:09. Nepean responded in the third with a power-play goal from Taylor at 17:37, but Hawkesbury sealed the win with Skoczylas scoring a shorthanded empty-net goal at 19:12. Hawkesbury’s Ruddy was solid in net, stopping 37 of 38 shots, while Nepean’s Gedraitis made 25 saves on 28 shots. Hawkesbury went 2-for-4 on the power play, while Nepean converted once on four chances.
Carleton Place 4, Rockland 2
Carleton Place rallied in the third period to defeat Rockland 4-2. Rockland took an early lead with a power-play goal from Charron at 11:02 of the first period, but Carleton Place responded in the second when Bouwer tied the game at 9:33. Rockland regained the lead early in the third with Hall’s goal at 1:11, but Carleton Place surged back with three unanswered goals—Kay at 10:45, Culley at 15:05, and Prud’homme sealing the win with an empty-netter at 19:55. Goalie Vandenberg made 30 saves for Carleton Place, while Forget stopped 27 shots for Rockland. Rockland went 1-for-3 on the power play, while Carleton Place was 0-for-1.
Brockville 7, Navan 4
Brockville overcame an early deficit to defeat Navan 7-4 in a high-scoring matchup. Navan struck quickly with two power-play goals from Carpenter at 1:48 and Holmes at 3:30, but Brockville responded with Poudrette’s goal at 12:49. Brockville took control in the second period as Treppo tied the game just 23 seconds in, followed by goals from Albright at 13:00 and Buller on the power play at 15:48. Navan’s Marcellino briefly cut the lead at 14:26, but Brockville dominated the third with goals from McNally at 5:58, Dinis at 9:28 and 18:16 (EN), while Ramsay netted Navan’s final goal at 17:04. Brockville outshot Navan 53-23, with Gerlich making 19 saves, while Navan’s Gagne stopped 46 of 52 shots. Brockville went 1-for-2 on the power play, while Navan converted twice on four chances.
Pembroke 4, Renfrew 3 (SO)
Pembroke edged Renfrew 4-3 in a shootout after a back-and-forth battle. Pembroke jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period with goals from Ushakov on the power play at 8:06 and Cardiff at 9:11. Renfrew responded in the second with Lalande’s power-play goal at 9:56 and Lefebvre’s equalizer at 13:21. Renfrew took their first lead early in the third when Menard scored just 25 seconds in, but Alegria tied it for Pembroke at 8:58. After a scoreless overtime, Alegria netted the lone goal in the shootout to secure the win. Pembroke outshot Renfrew 39-33, with Modelski making 30 saves and Kurtiak stopping 35. Both teams scored once on the power play, with Pembroke going 1-for-7 and Renfrew 1-for-4.
