Rockland 7, Hawkesbury 3

Rockland defeated Hawkesbury 7-3, dominating throughout the game. In the first period, Rockland took an early lead with goals from Charron, Le Houillier, and Laurent, despite some penalties on both sides. Hawkesbury’s Porco scored quickly in the second period, but Rockland extended their lead with goals from Kelloway and Tellier. A series of penalties, including a fight that led to game misconducts for Gagne and O’Connor, punctuated the period. Hawkesbury narrowed the gap in the third period with goals by Jette and Gelinas, but Rockland responded with goals from Tremblay and Labre, securing their win. Rockland outshot Hawkesbury 45-21, with goalie Forget making 18 saves.

Ottawa 6, Brockville 3

Ottawa defeated Brockville 6-3 in a game marked by power plays and penalties. Brockville struck first with a goal by Eccleston, but Ottawa quickly responded with goals from Guillemette and Pelchat, taking a lead in the first period. Brockville’s Treppo tied it in the second, only for Matsukubo to regain Ottawa’s lead on a power play. A series of roughing and fighting penalties led to Brockville’s Traynor receiving a game misconduct. In the third, Eccleston scored his second for Brockville, but Ottawa responded with goals from Matsukubo, Poor, and Brennan, sealing the win. Brockville outshot Ottawa 35-33, while Ottawa capitalized on two power-play goals.

Renfrew 3, Pembroke 2

Renfrew edged out Pembroke 3-2 in a closely contested game with no penalties. After a scoreless first period, the action picked up in the second, with Pembroke’s De Leon opening the scoring, followed by quick goals from Renfrew’s Fehr and Paron. Pembroke’s Barnard tied it at 2-2 late in the period. Early in the third, Souliere scored for Renfrew, which held as the game-winner. Both teams played a disciplined game, with no power plays. Renfrew narrowly outshot Pembroke 32-30, with goalies Ferguson and Suys making 29 and 28 saves, respectively.
