Cornwall’s Pyke opened the scoring in the second period, assisted by Miron and Ouellette, but Renfrew’s Paron tied it early in the third. Both teams failed to capitalize on multiple power-play opportunities, with Cornwall going 0-for-2 and Renfrew 0-for-5. After a scoreless overtime, the game moved to a shootout where Protopapas and Souliere scored for Renfrew, securing the win. Renfrew outshot Cornwall 43-33, with goalies Suys and Chabot making 32 and 41 saves, respectively.
