Ottawa 4, Carleton Place 2
The Ottawa Junior Senators built an early lead and held off a late rally to defeat the Carleton Place Canadians 4-2. Ottawa’s Rice opened the scoring with a shorthanded goal, followed by Brennan’s first-period tally. Ouellette and Demers extended the lead in the second, capitalizing on opportunities despite penalties on both teams. Ottawa outperformed in key moments, despite being heavily outshot 38-20 and neither team converting on power plays.

Hawkesbury 4, Brockville 1
The Hawkesbury Hawks secured a 4-1 victory over the Brockville Braves, with consistent scoring and a dominant offensive effort. Brockville’s Spicer opened the scoring in the first period, but Bandu equalized for Hawkesbury with a buzzer-beater at 19:58. Rose gave the Hawks the lead early in the second period, while both teams engaged in a physical game with multiple penalties, including a game misconduct for Brockville’s McNally.
