Kemptville 4 Brockville 3 (SO)
It took until the 4th round of the shootout, but the 73’s pulled off the victory on this night. It was a couple of 1st ever CCHL goals that jumpstarted them as Roarke Gilmour (with 2) and Santino Canevari beat Braves goalie Ryan Gerlich (46 saves). For the Braves, it was Matthew Verspeeten (3rd), Jackson Arango (1st) & Ben Albright (3rd) beating Rylan Donovan (24 saves). The shootout winner was scored by Aidan Stubbings (1 assist in game).
UP NEXT: Brockville is at home Friday night for a game against the Colts. Kemptville is also home Friday night taking on the Nationals.
Nepean 3 Ottawa 2
The game trend of going back on forth on goals continued in this one as Ottawa and Nepean traded goals until the Raiders Tyler Smith broke the tie and the trend to get the winner mid way through the 2nd period. Clement Valette (3rd) & Jack Matsukubo (10th) lit the lamp for Ottawa while Carson McGurn (4th) and Luka Benoit (10th) with the tallies for Nepean.
