Brockville defeated Cornwall 5-2 after a strong third-period performance. Cornwall took an early lead in the first period with a goal from Walker, but Brockville responded in the second with a shorthanded goal by McNally. The third period saw Brockville pull away with goals from Paluszak (twice), Cote, and Dinis, while Miron scored Cornwall’s lone goal on the power play. Brockville outshot Cornwall 34-24, and goaltender Gerlich made 22 saves for the win, while Chabot stopped 29 shots in the loss. Cornwall struggled on the power play, converting just one of seven opportunities.
