Trenton 5, Smiths Falls 1
The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Smiths Falls Bears 5–1 at the Smiths Falls Memorial Centre. Smiths Falls opened the scoring early in the first, but Trenton answered and then took control in the second period with three goals, including two from Darlison and a power-play marker from Hughes. Rashotte added a final insurance goal in the third, while goaltender Wilson stopped 18 of 19 shots for the win. Special teams proved decisive, as Trenton converted 4 of 5 power-play chances while Smiths Falls went 0-for-3. Penalties hampered the Bears throughout, and Trenton’s strong special-teams play and balanced scoring secured the victory in front of 112 fans.

Gatineau 5, Hawkesbury 1
The Gatineau Flames powered to a 5–1 victory over the Hawkesbury Hawks at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex, scoring twice in the opening three minutes of the first due to goals from Evola and Picken; McGlade added another in the second, while Picken struck again on the power play early in the third before Wallace sealed the win, despite a Hawkesbury shorthanded goal from Anderson in between. Gatineau dominated on the scoreboard with a commanding performance—31 saves from Cassels on 32 shots—while Hawkesbury’s Gelinas and Galang combined for 26 saves on 31 shots. Gatineau also proved lethal on the power play, going 1-for-5, while Hawkesbury failed to connect on three opportunities, as penalties and discipline issues further hindered their effort in front of 270 fans.
Trenton 4, Smiths Falls 1
The Trenton Golden Hawks edged out the Smiths Falls Bears 4–1 at Duncan Memorial Gardens, overcoming an early strike by Smiths Falls’ Sasseville at 3:45 before responding with a goal from Musclow at 7:51 in the first period; Trenton then took control in the second with Gayagoy scoring at 1:39 and Pettipas adding a power-play marker at 18:28, and Shantz sealed the win in the third on another man-advantage tally at 11:20. Trenton outshot Smiths Falls 30 to 24, converted on 2 of 7 power-play opportunities while Smiths Falls went 0-for-6, and goalie Wilson turned aside 23 of 24 shots for the win.

Smiths Falls 3, Renfrew 1
The Smiths Falls Bears secured a 3–1 victory over the Renfrew Wolves at the Smiths Falls Memorial Centre, jumping ahead in the first period with goals from Kettles at 11:33 and Riopel on the power play at 14:50. Renfrew’s Stevenson struck back in the third at 6:13, but Smiths Falls iced it with an empty-net goal by Ouellette at 19:59. Both teams generated 26 shots on goal, while Smiths Falls capitalized on 1 of 5 power-play chances compared to Renfrew’s 0 for 4. Goaltending was solid all around: Tremblay stopped all 13 shots he faced and Campbell made 12 saves on 13, while Osipenko and Kurtiak combined for 23 saves on 26 attempts. Penalties were frequent, particularly in the early going, but it was the early offense and clutch goaltending that carried Smiths Falls to the win in front of 110 fans.
Hawkesbury 6, Cornwall 4
The Hawkesbury Hawks emerged victorious with a 6–4 win over the Cornwall Colts at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex. After a scoreless first period, Henderson broke the deadlock early in the second before Racine tied it for Cornwall; Hawkesbury pulled ahead with goals from Plouffe and Quy-Lavallée, though Luther replied for Cornwall—setting the stage at 3–2 after 40 minutes. In the third, Lalonde struck twice, Racine added another, and despite Brown’s goal for Cornwall and a last-second Rolland tally, Hawkesbury held on thanks to superior shot volume (57 vs. 22) and timely scoring. Both teams went cold on the power play, going a combined 0-for-9, but Hawkesbury’s depth and opportunistic offense, backed by strong goaltending from Ruddy and Kerr, sealed the win.
Navan 3, Nepean 0
The Navan Grads shut out the Nepean Raiders 3–0 on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Walter Baker Arena, as Fitzpatrick got things started early in the first period at 12:33 (assisted by Dervish and Hartwick). After a quiet second frame, Navan pulled ahead in the third with Caputo scoring at 5:50 (from Murphy and Lindsay), and Goldfarb sealed the win with an empty-net, shorthanded goal at 17:55. Navan outshot Nepean 32 to 26 overall, and while neither team converted on the power play (Navan 0-for-0, Nepean 0-for-3), the Grads’ defense and Audet’s 15-save, perfect performance between the pipes were key.

Kemptville 3, Carleton Place 2
The Kemptville 73’s edged out the Carleton Place Canadians 3–2 o at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. MacCoubrey gave Kemptville the early lead midway through the first on a power-play goal, while neither side scored in the second. The third saw a flurry of action—Cooling tied it for Carleton Place just 41 seconds in, Grant restored Kemptville’s lead moments later, Bergeron drew the Canadians level midway through, and Tym netted the game-winner for Kemptville with less than two minutes left. Kemptville outshot Carleton Place 31 to 24 and went 1-for-4 on the power play, while Carleton Place was blanked on five attempts; between the pipes, Suski made 28 saves on 31 shots for Carleton Place, and Kemptville split time between Turpin (13 saves on 13) and Carswell (9 saves on 11).
Cornwall 4, Hawkesbury 1
The Cornwall Colts secured a 4–1 win over the Hawkesbury Hawks at the Benson Centre. Cornwall struck twice in the first period with Cotton opening the scoring at 14:20 and Warner adding a power-play goal at 17:14. They extended their lead early in the second as Cotton scored his second at 4:02 (PP), then Beliveau netted another on the power play at 15:55. Hawkesbury responded late with Henderson scoring on the man advantage at 19:33, but no further goals were recorded in the third. Cornwall outshot Hawkesbury 33 to 21 overall and capitalized on 3 of 6 power-play opportunities—while Hawkesbury managed only 1 for 2. Goaltenders stood tall: Gelinas made 14 saves on 17 shots for Hawkesbury before Galang added 15 saves on 16 shots, while Cornwall’s Poitras was perfect with 6 saves in his appearance and Foti chipped in with 14 across 15 shots.
Smiths Falls 4, Renfrew 0
The Smiths Falls Bears shut out the Renfrew Wolves 4–0 at the MyFM Centre Recreation Complex, jumping ahead in the first period with goals from Parker at 4:58 (assisted by Beauchesne and Heron) and Heron at 11:15 (assisted by Beauchesne). They extended their lead early in the second with Veltkamp scoring at 1:19 (from Heron and Parker), and Dudziak added an insurance goal at 12:42 (from Colson and Kettles). While both teams missed all power-play opportunities (Smiths Falls 0-for-4, Renfrew 0-for-2), Smiths Falls’ stingy defense—backed by perfect goaltending from Buterbaugh (9 saves) and Campbell (4 saves).

Hawkesbury 5, Valleyfield 4 (OT)
The Hawkesbury Hawks edged out the Braves de Valleyfield 5–4 in overtime at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex. Valleyfield took an early 3–1 lead in the first period with goals from Gauthier (2) and Richardson, while St. Louis scored for Hawkesbury. Hawkesbury responded in the second with St. Louis’ second goal, assisted by Henderson. The third period saw Hawkesbury tie the game with goals from St. Louis (assisted by Lauzon and D’Arcy) and Henderson, while Valleyfield’s Amyot scored their fourth goal. In overtime, Lacoste secured the win for Hawkesbury with an assist from Henderson. Both teams struggled on the power play, going 0-for-5 and 0-for-7, respectively. Hawkesbury outshot Valleyfield 49–40, with Gelinas earning the win in goal.
Nepean 4, Navn 3 (OT)
The Nepean Raiders edged out the Navan Grads 4–3 in overtime at the Bob MacQuarrie Recreation Complex. After a scoreless first period, Nepean opened the scoring early in the second with Tellier’s goal at 0:31, followed by goals from Yates and Williamson later in the period. Navan responded with goals from Purdy, Poulin, and Fitzpatrick to take a 3–2 lead into the third. In the third period, Nepean tied the game with goals from Yates and Williamson, sending the game into overtime. In the overtime period, Rotondo scored the game-winning goal for Nepean at 1:39. Both teams struggled on the power play, with Nepean going 0-for-4 and Navan 0-for-5. Goaltenders Otsirakatste and Hodgson combined for 16 saves on 17 shots for Nepean, while Audet made 16 saves on 19 shots for Navan.
