Benoit Forget was unbeatable between the pipes, stopping all 33 shots he faced to backstop his team to a shutout victory. Guillaume Labre led the offense with a goal and an assist, while Tristan Poor contributed a pair of helpers in the win. Despite a strong performance from Taye Timmerman, who made 28 saves for Northern Manitoba, his team couldn’t solve Forget and came up short on the scoreboard.
