Morning Recap | Wolves top Canadians via shootout in final game before pause

 

RENFREW, ON – In the lone Tuesday night game prior to the provincial mandated three-week pause, the Renfrew Wolves defeated the Carleton Place Canadians via shootout.

Tyson Tomasini scored twice, Samuel Willits, Noah Vom Scheidt, and Tyler Schweitzer also found the net, while Will Craig made 42 saves as Renfrew improved to 17-6-1-1 on the season. Carleton Place, who saw their record fall to 11-12-1-3, had goals from Kerfalla Toure, Jake Code, Bill Gourgon, Marco Iozzo, and Derek Hamilton, while Brady McEwan made 29-saves in a relief appearance.
