Morning Recap | Wolves and Nationals victorious Wednesday night

 

RENFREW, ON – Two games across the CCHL Wednesday saw victories from the Renfrew Wolves and Rockland Nationals.

 

RENFREW 4 SMITHS FALLS 2

Charlie Johnson scored twice, Jakob Kalin and Tyson Tomasini had 1-goal apiece, while Will Craig made 24-saves as Renfrew improved their season record to 15-5-1-1. Smiths Falls, who saw their record fall to 8-15-1-0, had goals from Will Rivet and Sean James, while Will McEvoy made 47-saves in the losing effort.

 

ROCKLAND 3 KEMPTVILLE 2 SO

Alexandre Frechette and Tucker Shields scored in regulation, John Mulvihill netted the shootout winner, while Simon Couroux made 45-saves as Rockland improved to 9-14-2-1 on the year. Kemptville, who fell to 15-7-2-2, had goals from Chase Lammi and Benjamin Campeau, while Tyler Laureault made 25-saves in the loss.
