Morning Recap | Lumber Kings, Junior Senators, and Wolves win Wednesday

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were three games of CCHL action Wednesday night, seeing victories from the Pembroke Lumber Kings, Renfrew Wolves, and Ottawa Junior Senators.

 

PEMBROKE 3 CARLETON PLACE 2

Jesse Kirkby, Carter Vollett, and Jace Letourneau scored goals, while Reece Proulx made 29-saves as Pembroke improved their season record to 20-6-2-2. Carleton Place, who fell to 12-15-1-3, had goals from Derek Hamilton and Marco Iozzo, while Brady McEwan made 17-saves in the losing effort.

 

RENFREW 3 NEPEAN 2

Tyson Tomasini, Samuel Willits, and Brendan Hill tallied goals, while Will Craig made 33-saves as Renfrew improved their record on the season to 19-9-1-1. Nepean, who dropped to 7-23-1-0, had goals from Tyler Melvin and Anthony Rivard, while Nathan Loisel made 31-saves in the loss.

 

OTTAWA 6 BROCKVILLE 3

Thomas Freel scored twice, Philippe Jacques, Simon Isabelle, Anthony Provost, and Robbie Stewart added singles, while William Desmarais made 24-saves as Ottawa improved their record on the season to 24-3-1-1. Brockville, who dropped to 20-10-0-2, had goals from Luke Tchor, Owen Belisle, and Jack McDonald, while Sami Molu made 24-saves in the losing effort.
