Morning Recap | Lumber Kings and Hawks pick up wins Wednesday

 

Ottawa, ON – Just two games of CCHL action Wednesday saw the Pembroke Lumber Kings and Hawkesbury Hawks grabbing victories.

Alex Urbisci and Nicolas Guillemette tallied goals, while rookie goaltender Reece Proulx had a 35-saveĀ  shutout as Pembroke snapped their 4-game losing streak and improved to 8-5-0-0 on the year. Joshua Ward made 24-saves as Ottawa fell to 8-4-1-0.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 5 ROCKLAND 2

Jeremy Quesnel, Sean Clarke, Azzaro Tinling, Evan Johnston, and Brendan McCarthy scored, while Mathieu Chenier made 26-savesĀ  as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 8-6-0-0. Rockland had goals from Gunnar Smith and Cameron Scrivens as they fell to 8-4-0-0 on the year.
