Morning Recap | Lumber Kings & 73’s Wednesday winners

 

OTTAWA, ON – The Pembroke Lumber Kings and Kemptville 73’s each picked up two points in Wednesday night CCHL action.

 

PEMBROKE 4 NEPEAN 1

Brady Egan netted a hat trick to take sole possession of the CCHL goal-scoring race with 13 goals this year, Alex Urbisci also scored, while Reece Proulx made 34-saves as Pembroke improved their season record to 9-3-1-1. Nepean, who saw their record drop to 4-9-1-0, had their lone goal from David Fontaine, while Evan Martin finished with 27-saves in the loss.

 

KEMPTVILLE 5 BROCKVILLE 4 SO

Benjamin Campeau scored in regulation and got the shootout winner, Adam Cavallin, Chase Lammi, and Noah Houle also tallied goals, while Tyler Laureault made 19-saves as Kemptville improved to a Robinson Division best 10-5-0-1 on the season. Brockville, who fell to 8-4-0-2, had a two-goal performance from Evan Boucher, singles from Owen Belisle and Marco Iozzo, while Will McEvoy made 29-saves in the losing effort.
